【ピアノ練習曲集の特徴】
比較的易しめの楽曲からツェルニーレベルの1～2ページの小品が揃っています。曲の調性、拍子、必要なテクニックが目次に記されており、順番に弾くこともできますが、トレーニングの目的別に練習することもできるタイトル。他シリーズと同様に、ツェルニーやクラーマーなどのよく取り上げられる作曲家の作品と、あまり知られていない作曲家の作品の両方をバランスよく収載しています。アーティキュレーションの豊富さや音使いで、音楽的に魅力ある練習曲が揃っており、特徴の違う作品をバランスよく学習することができます。

1巻は、四分音符までの音価で始まり、徐々に八分音符や三連符など細かい音価が加わってきます。初級者でも無理なく弾くことができ、調号も少ない調が多いですが内容的に大変充実しています。
